Regulatory Compliance
Applicable Laws:
All users and sellers must comply with all relevant laws, rules, and regulations applicable in India, including but not limited to the Consumer Protection Act, Information Technology Act, Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations, Intellectual Property laws, and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
Seller Compliance:
Sellers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required licenses, registrations, and certifications necessary to legally sell their products on Surechain. Non-compliance may result in removal of listings or termination of seller accounts.
Product Compliance:
All products must meet applicable safety, quality, and labeling standards mandated by Indian authorities or other relevant jurisdictions. Sellers must ensure product authenticity and legality.
Prohibited Goods and Services
Surechain prohibits the listing, sale, or promotion of products or services that:
Are illegal under Indian law or the laws of the buyer’s jurisdiction.
Violate intellectual property rights, including counterfeit or pirated goods.
Are unsafe, hazardous, or pose a risk to public health or safety.
Include restricted or regulated items such as firearms, tobacco, narcotics, or adult content without necessary approvals.
Promote hate speech, violence, or discrimination.
Surechain reserves the right to remove any such listings without prior notice.
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF)
Surechain has implemented controls and monitoring processes to detect and prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illegal activities. Suspicious transactions or behaviors may be reported to Indian authorities in compliance with applicable laws.
User and Seller Obligations
Users and sellers must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information when registering and conducting transactions.
Sellers are responsible for ensuring compliance with tax obligations, including GST registration and remittance.
Users must refrain from fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive behavior on the platform.
Violations may lead to suspension, account termination, or legal action.
Grievance Redressal Mechanism
Surechain provides a dedicated grievance redressal process to address user complaints related to sellers, products, transactions, or platform services.
Complaints can be submitted via email at besure@surechain.ai or through the platform’s support interface. Surechain aims to respond to grievances within 7 business days and resolve issues in a fair and timely manner.
Seller Performance and Monitoring
Surechain monitors seller activity, product quality, and compliance on an ongoing basis.
Non-compliance, poor seller performance, or repeated customer complaints may result in listing removal, account suspension, or termination.
Sellers are encouraged to maintain high standards to ensure customer satisfaction and trust.
Cooperation with Authorities
Surechain cooperates fully with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and judicial authorities in India to investigate and respond to any suspected illegal, fraudulent, or unethical activities.
Data Privacy and Security
Surechain is committed to protecting user data and complying with applicable data protection laws in India.
Users’ personal information is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
